It's just too darn cold up there in the North! We love our Valley weather. And how wonderful to be able to go outside and pick oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, key limes and Texas lemons from own own trees!   Many residents have lived in Palmera Heights for 10-20 years or more. 

We are within 1 mile to local attractions by foot and by car -

La Feria business include El Centro Grocery, Bakery, Florists, Family Restaurants including McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Gas/Convenience Stores, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Post Office, City Hall, County Offices, Doctors, Dentists, and more.

Unlike most other parks, Palmera Heights Subdivision has no HOA Fees.

We do have a clubhouse and, if you wish to join, members pay a small fee for use of the clubhouse. It includes weekly pancake breakfasts, birthday events, pool, bingo, bridge & other card games, and more. See Palmera Heights Schedule. 

Did you know we even have races at Palmera Heights?  Yes... some of our winter visitors have a new sport!  Hey have competition races with their "Radio Cars".

There is no shortage of fun and laughter when we are "On the Town".  We might be found at "Wink's"  watching the rodeo at dinnertime, at "Ol'D's" for food, music and dance, or the VFW for Steak night, just to name a few!
